We’re proud to announce the return of The Brilliance Horse Auction for 2025—ushering in a new season, yet grounded in the same purpose: to present the global show jumping market with a world-class collection of horses bred and produced in Great Britain and Ireland. This summer, Brilliance takes on a whole new meaning as we make our debut at the crown jewel of the British equestrian calendar—The Agria Royal International Horse Show, Hickstead. Our mission? To deliver a handpicked collection of exceptional showjumpers—horses with championship potential, proven performance, and Brilliance running through their bloodlines.

Born from Legacy, Built for the Future

The Brilliance Horse Auction was conceived by industry powerhouses—William & Pippa Funnell of The Billy Stud and Shane & Chloe Breen of Breen Equestrian Ltd—during a conversation navigating dates for their own auctions in an increasingly packed show calendar. From this meeting of minds emerged a vision: a joining of forces to create a premium platform for showcasing the finest young talents from Britain and Ireland. Since that moment, a world-class team has united to challenge the notion that the UK market would falter post-Brexit. Quite the opposite—we’ve proven that British breeding and production is not just thriving but setting new standards of excellence.

Summer 2025: A New Chapter at Hickstead

Our third auction takes place in the hallowed grounds of the All England Jumping Course, during the prestigious Agria Royal International Horse Show—a fitting stage to showcase our next exceptional collection. For Shane & Chloe Breen, Hickstead is more than a venue— it’s home. With Breen Equestrian just a short walk from the iconic International Arena, this partnership is deeply personal. We’re incredibly grateful to the Hickstead team for helping bring this vision to life.
