The selection of The Brilliance Collection has been spearheaded by Roger McCrea. Roger who is now in his 5th year with The Billy Stud, spent 10 years establishing Oakingham Stud, orchestrating their breeding programme and producing upcoming talents like Ben Mahers top ride Faltic HB to international level. His passion for young horses and breeding perfectly compliments the vision of the four directors of The Brilliance Horse Auction Company.

As The Billy Stud manager, Roger works side by side on a daily basis with seasoned international competitors William and Pippa Funnell whose contribution to the eventing and show jumping worlds has been unparalleled. They have spent many years producing homegrown horses to the pinacle of both sports. William has recently been appointed as trainer of the UAE show jumping team, with the Paris Olympics in their sights.

Shane Breen, currently 71 in the world rankings, travels the world week in, week out competing on The Global Tour, Nations Cup and World Cup Circuits. Together with wife Chloe Breen, a Director of The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead, they have an intimate knowledge of the show jumping world - and what it takes to breed and produce horses for the world stage.

Common goals and mutual respect drive the team behind The Brilliance Horse Auction Company. It would be simply impossible to get a project like this off the ground without the graft and determination of our inspirational team, a merger of the teams from The Billy Stud auctions established in 2017, and Equisportif who sucessfully delivered the Breen Equestrian Ltd. auctions of 22/23. A small army of unsung heroes from the Breen and Funnell stables have been diligently working behind the scenes to produce and look after these 12 horses to present them to you in peak condition and health.
